Seattle Green Custom Home

The Seattle green custom home is a new 3000 sf single family residence in the Bryant neighborhood of Seattle. The homeowner came to H2D Architecture + Design with a vision to have a new environmentally friendly home built. The design and construction was driven by the goal to sustainably creating a new beautiful home. Green features include: green roof, rainwater harvesting, rainscreen siding, energy efficient building envelope, advanced framing, exterior lights to meet dark sky standards, salvaged hardwood flooring, countertops made from local sourced recycled glass, tile made with 100% recycled glass, zero and low-VOC paints and stains, and many more green features to make this a healthy home.
