Their need to create a home that offers them a place of rest and serenity is the inspiration for this residence. Every corner of this house steers clear of decoration and instead celebrates simplicity and pure form. The central space inside is the Kitchen and its entertaining areas, the Living and Dining zones. In this cluster of spaces a wash of light bounces off the split level ceiling and bathes everything below. The view to the backyard is also filled with light due to the full width glass sliding doors that opens the back wall to the covered patio. With our design and collaboration this transplanted family has completed their transition to Houston.
