His Bath

There wasn't enough storage or light in this 1950s 48 square foot dark and musty bathroom. The new bathroom is bright and light. The major improvement is the new mostly glass shower wall. No more showering in a dark cave! Recessed niches in the shower hold bathing supplies. The shower control (not pictured) is conveniently located to the left of the door on the half wall -- no reaching way into the shower and getting drenched as the water is turned on. For a more modern feel, the white horizontally installed wall tile is 4" x 16" and the floor tile installed in a staggered brick pattern is 16 x 16. Removing the soffit made space for a dimmable wall sconce above the 3 medicine cabinets ganged together. The shower has a wet location recessed light.
