Kingsway Kitchen

This project uses simple but effective changes to an existing kitchen to update and refresh the space with minimal intervention. A mix of luxurious, rich materials and colours transform the space in to an unabashedly luxe, textural, and chic space to cook and entertain.

The clients wanted to add a place in the kitchen for family and friends to gather together. A custom pink velvet and white oak banquette, mother of pearl table, and brass sconces provide a comfortable, elegant, place to linger over a cup of tea with friends.

The existing kitchen layout was very functional, so new appliances were placed in the existing locations to keep the cooking triangle intact.

The dark herringbone backsplash contrasts with the existing high-gloss dusty pink cabinets, making the colour pop while adding depth and texture to the material palette.

An existing glass block pyramid window was replaced with a clean square window to modernize the look and provide better light to the room.
