This project is an interior renewal of the ground floor of a large South Hill home in Toronto. The clients are passionate art collectors, and wanted to feel as if they are living among their impressive collection. Colour, texture, and drama are combined with thoughtful spatial reconfigurations to transform the look and feel of the home.

The marble in the kitchen is treated, and lit, as if it were a piece of art. The large backsplash is framed by the contrasting black millwork. A custom composition of sculptural rectilinear lights appears to float in the air above.
