This lakefront property lacked a sunroom and Weidmann was contacted to discuss adding one. However, the addition of a traditional sunroom presented more issues than solutions. It would have adversely impacted the homeowners plans for a future outdoor living space, cut off light to the interior of the home, and would have left them with an awkwardly configured den space. By reconfiguring the interior space - which included relocating the master bedroom, removing a fireplace that blocked the lake view, expanding the den, and adding windows – our clients got the sunroom they wanted, preserved the ability to build-out the outdoor living space, and gained a great space in the heart of the home overlooking the lake out back.
