A large bank of windows is a standout feature for most rooms, it is the new direction in the "Open Kitchen Floorplan." If you don't have a window over your sink consider adding a large, bold arch creating style and a focal point from the kitchen to an adjoining room. Of course, the bigger and bolder the opening, the less space flanking it. But don't worry; just take the cabinets to the ceiling or, better yet, rearrange to a kitchen island or wall.
