Weidmann & Associates recently completed this beautiful kitchen remodeling project with overall space far more cohesive for both interior and exterior. Far exceeding the home's original floorplan. Previously, the kitchen was isolated from the main gathering areas. A new open & flowing floorplan was designed and constructed, unifying the common areas of the home and dramatically changing the connection to the outdoor living space. Many homeowners in and around Atlanta are opting to refresh their much loved homes (rather than move) with this trending style of opening & greatly improving. The transitional style reflects a sleek, modern, and elegant look. Most of the lighting was provided by Design Lighting Group, but their old dining room chandelier was repurposed over the new island. Along the back wall a large window and bank of doors, supplied and installed by Atlanta Specialty Millworks, creates a bright atmosphere. A mix of painted and stained cabinets are coordinated with a light countertop, White Macabus / Dal Tile, and installed by Atlanta Stone Pros. Sewell Appliances provided the Dacor ovens and the Dacor microwave, while Moda Floors & Interiors completed the hardwood repairs and refinishing. All these elements come together to create an atmosphere ready for entertaining inside and outside.
