New custom 9600 square foot residence in Cherry Hills, CO. Architectural services were provided for this project from initial concept through completion of the construction documents, including all of the interior architectural details. Zoning dictated a 30 foot height limit on the site which influenced the decision to use a Mediterranean style with a low slope roof. Classical detailing and rigid adherence to symmetry is used throughout the design. Rooms on the ground and upper levels radiate off of a monumental rotunda with curving staircase. The house includes three bedrooms in addition to a Guest Bedroom and Master Suite. A spacious caretaker's suite is located above the four car garage. The site includes a custom designed fountain and pergola in the back yard, and custom designed fence and gates along the front property line.
