A custom designed home museum for the display of 4800 bottles of scotch. Plaques from various Scottish clans are displayed above the elliptical shaped tasting bar which is the focal point of the room. Richly figured moldings frame wood wall panels, while multiple moldings are combined to make up the unique cornices. There are literally thousands of miter joints in the woodwork. The carpeting was custom designed and manufactured to match the tartan plaid of the client's Scottish clan.
