This builder-grade kitchen was transformed into a luxury Old World kitchen renovation with warmth, depth, and elevated character.
The homeowners originally considered a full kitchen remodel to create a more refined setting for cooking and entertaining. Because the existing cherry-stained cabinetry was still functional and offered a rich foundation, we developed a design plan that preserved what worked while elevating the entire space. The outdated bat-wing island and underperforming downdraft cooktop were replaced with a larger custom kitchen island, increased storage, and a more generous cooktop. To bring in authentic Old World charm, other elements like an Arabesque marble tile backsplash, aged pewter hardware and a hammered bronze and copper ventilation hood which was installed above the island, creating a dramatic focal point while greatly improving exhaust performance and everyday kitchen functionality.
