Very little space was available to make this design work. It need two set of stairs and a seating area. Deck couldn't be built towards the house because of two escape windows.
Instead of a standard railing we built a 18' bench along this side to maximize the seating.
This wood and composite deck has a suprisingly natural feel and follows the contours of the small site.
