A large deck for a large house. The Fiberon decking in the Ipe color is divided in three sections to avoid any seams on the deck. The idea was to create a center section for dining. One for a bench and grilling and a relaxing area by the stair side. This deck also has an outdoor living space below the deck and is covered with patio pavers and a partial retaining wall.
The ceiling is covered with the drysnap system and the water that is collected by these panels are directed towards the gutter and is sloped on both sides of the deck.
To make the space usable at night and to keep it cool we added three outdoor ceiling fans.
All the columns that support the whole deck are 10" fiberglass.
