Spanish Bunagalow
This small residential garden was designed to enhance the existing architecture and create an fluid transition between the indoor and outdoor environments. The residence sitting on a high profile street in a downtown area needed a definition of its front garden. This was accomplished by the addition of a low architectural wall with a rustic gate.
The use of a column water feature centered in the front garden provided a screen for the residence, while creating interest for pedestrian traffic. Plant materials were carefully chosen for their rich course textures and reflection of true Mediterranean gardens, with a Spanish focus. Design amenities included an outdoor kitchen, fireplace, shower, plunge pool, pergola, lounge areas, fresh water features and a hookah room.
