The Ultimate Football Den
As big-time football fans, these homeowners felt constricted by a home entertainment system with just one TV. They contacted ListenUp to discuss the possibility of creating a setup in which they could enjoy multiple games simultaneously, and shortly thereafter, a ListenUp Sales Consultant Rob Baritech set about designing just such a system.
Here we mounted three 42-inch and two 60-inch HDTVs, plus a projector with a 110-inch drop-down screen. The system has the ability to matrix out five different feeds simultaneously, or one direct feed to the projector. The couple has five different DirecTV boxes, two XBOX 360's, a PS3 and a gaming computer. They can access any one of the TVs for any source they desire - or even the Sonos system for music - using the Control4 portable controller.
The sound is pretty impressive too, with an Integra receiver feeding B&W in-wall/in-ceiling speakers and two REL subwoofers for that extra "oomph".
