This 3 bedroom postwar apartment on Manhattan's upper east side featured panoramic 30th floor views, but a humdrum, boxy layout. We opened up the entry to create a dramatic entry foyer with display niches and an elegant marble floor. The rest of the apartment was given an open, loft-like layout to capitalize on the views.
