The enormous main space is given a sense of scale and intimacy through the use of screen walls and flying beams which define alcoves for reading, dining, and gathering with friends. At the same time, scupper-like light throughs suffuse the ceiling with a warm glow with allows the space to be read as a continuous whole. Generous-sized closets and bathrooms, a commodious kitchen and formal entry are added to the mix.
