This project for two artists with grandchildren was envisioned to incorporate a cedar timber frame made from whole trees cut from the property, in the tradition of American national park architecture from the early 20th Century. Contemporary planning assures functional integration and abundant natural light, while modern detailing counterbalances the density of the cedar frame.
