This classic Nantucket style home is set on a peninsula on Long Island Sound in Old Greenwich. It features gambrel roofs, open porches and custom mahogany windows from Poland. There is an octagonal mudroom with lighthouse organizer, a curved side porch with a second curved porch off the second floor master suite, a detailed Palladian window in the master suite, a classic beadboard paneled master bath with split marble vanities, leaded glass windows and window seat, and a semi-circular wall with built-ins and windows looking out to the sound. The location of the site required pile driving and hurricane bracing. This home was completed in 10 months, and won a HOBI Award for “Best Fairfield County Custom Home 7,000-8,000sf.”
