106th Avenue Kitchen
This kitchen renovation was long overdue for my client's. Having raised 4 beautiful kids in this split level home they were ready to update this shared family space. Updates that allowed for better function and use of the existing space. While blending in their taste and the style of their home. To make the transition between the renovated kitchen and their existing spaces feel natural to the home we selected two finishes for our cabinetry. A light wood finish in quarter-sawn oak for the base cabinets, floating shelves, and pantry/fridge cabinet. And white upper cabinets to keep the feel of the room light and modern. We updated all the trim on the main level in this same white painted finish. Recessed lighting and a decorative pendant over the sink and dining table were added along with a new knockdown ceiling to replace the popcorned original to the home. A white subway tile contrasts against the grayish blue granite and LVP flooring. To help keep the project costs within budget my clients chose to do the demo and project management and are very happy with their new kitchen.
