My client's and I completed this project in 2009 after having worked together previously on their lower level media room. Eventually I would help them design and update nearly every room in their home.
- This master bathroom is a blend of new and old; my client was seeking to make some minor updates to some of the finishes while adding storage. The original builder bath lacked not only storage, but architectural interest. I quickly designed a plan that would give her storage within a beautifully designed package. Connecting the high ceilings to the bath fixtures with columns, shelving, and crown molding. The newly designed columns on the tub deck were not only beautiful, but functioned as hidden storage. The rest of our design changes were cosmetic; granite countertop, vanity lights, custom white framed mirrors, a mixture of white enameled walls around the tub deck and otter brown walls in the main bath. We enameled the existing tub deck and vanity cabinet in white to create a unified space that blends all of the new details with the old.
