Our client, who uses a walker and wheelchair, moved into a condo along with 24-hour live-in assistance. Her new bathroom was not accessible for her, so we worked with her and her physical therapist to determine her physical needs and designed the bathroom around them. The result is a room as beautiful as it is functional for her, without an institutional feel.
This project won a MN NARI Universal Design COTY award, a MN NKBA 1st place Small Baths award, and a MN NKBA Universal Design award.
