The new owners of this townhouse needed to reconfigure the kitchen to be accessible for the husband's wheelchair. We removed a short wall that was narrowing the entrance to the space and took out the small island to open up the room. New cabinets included adjustments tailored to his abilities and new finishes were a contemporary update.
