The layout and function of this small guest bath worked well, but the homeowner wanted a style update of the surfaces and fixtures. She was also interested in trying to remodel in a "green" direction, but within her budget. We reused much of the existing bath, updating with modern materials (Kirei board, bamboo, Richlite, mocha marble) in keeping with the soft contemporary styled home. We employed sustainable practices by minimizing demolition, minimizing waste, and using natural, recycled, energy-efficient, and low VOC materials.
