We updated the home by applying a grey wash to the Oak floors to soften them. We faux finished the newel post and handrail in a taupe color with a rubbed through look at wear points. The baby Grand is nestled in the space under the stairs with a round ottoman that just fits in its beautiful curve....

In the Living Room we can seat 12! That is a big improvement over the seating for 6 that was originally there. Our loveseats were slipcovered in two fabrics for added interest. The two chairs were swivel, so at any moment if anyone needed to catch a glimpse of a Blue Heron, they could swivel...

In the dining room we added grey nickel gap planking installed vertically for that coastal-feel. We did the recess for the "label forward" wine storage over a grey mosaic herringbone tiled back wall. The "cork screw" chandelier was the star of the room.

Our bar area has had the most significant changes. The existing mahogany bar, paneling, floors, fireplace and beams were all painted white. On the Bar, the elbow rail was mahogany and we had the faux finisher paint it to look like the quartz counter top. Be sure and look at the before shots!

Even the pool table did not escape the paint brush! We painted it in grey!

A collection of photos of the Chesapeake Bay were done by Jay Flemming, local to Annapolis. We painted the Mahogany paneling white and did a one inch hand painted border in Hale Navy to enhance the photos.

The new bumped out semi-circular room off of the family room added a new place to sit and swivel. so comfy!

In the upstairs Hallway we installed vertical ship lap for a paneled look and set grass cloth wallcovering inside the panels. The we hung some bright oil paintings with coastal themes. This is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the view of the water.

The Master Bedroom has killer views no matter which window you look out! We did the bed area with two swivel chairs in front of the fireplace and a seating area with two chaises in front of the side windows.
