Florida Modern

That laid-back Coastal lifestyle with modern touches is a style that appeals to a lot of people. This traditional one level home was a big hit with the home owners when they realized the potential! Out with the dark gloomy wood finishes, deep gold walls and in with the wide plank white oak flooring and the crisp white walls.

The free standing tub sits on a bed of sand pebble tile and is nestled in the alcove, clad in Coastal Shiplap. The height of the bathroom required the warmth of the wood. The twin rain showers are around the back of the accent wall.

Our Powder Room was ship-lapped on all 4 walls and we inset a custom made, extra tall mirror to emphasis the height of the room! The wall paper above is reminiscent of sun dappled water. The Vanity detail was designed to pick up the angles of our hexagonal sink.

The soaring ceilings in this home are 13 Ft. tall! The beautiful Coffered Ceiling adds the rich customized detailing to this Family Room. The TV accent wall is done with shiplap and recessed panels that suggest columns with the "X" detail that is carried into the Bar Built-in around the corner.

By taking out the oversized Tub platform and installing a free-standing tub we saved a lot of floor space and opened up the room. Our pebble based tile created a "tub on the beach" look! Adding the crown molding, the white accent tiles and benches brightened up the tile in the shower.
