Welcome to this marvelous lakeside property just minutes outside the hustle bustle of the city!
This lakeside Renovations was comprised of an entire main floor overhaul and three bathrooms renovations.
One of our focal points for this project was the kitchen, the former kitchen was dark, dated and the flow was not functional. The goal was to design a kitchen that would be bright and airy, and in addition, would allow ample space for storage and family gatherings. Being that this home is overlooking the lake, we wanted the design of the space to reflect that feeling.
The former Kitchen had an 80’s style L-shaped kitchen. We removed all of the old cabinets and made way with another wall to open up the space between the kitchen and family room.
For this kitchen we use a combination of high and low elements to achieve a reasonable budget. We splurged on the Wolf range and the paneled fridge (which we managed to get as clearance item). The key is to always invest in quality appliances that will make for better cooking, and a great future resale opportunity.
Putting great emphasis on unique yet simple details in the design of the kitchen is what truly gives this space its beachy look. A combination of soft white tones paired with a soft blue blue hues creates a soothing contrast.
The tumbled blue-grey backsplash in a herringbone pattern adds a layer of texture and detail, all while still presenting a casual look.
The functions of this kitchen exceeded the client’s expectations and the cozy and relaxed kitchens makes this a great space to cook, play and entertain in!
The master bath goals were to create a space that was spacious and simple.
In order to facilitate the requirements, we had to expand the existing footprint and borrow some precious closet space. By reworking the footprint of the bathroom, we were able to incorporate all of the client’s requirements. The deign of this bathroom is calm and serene, the client wanted to keep the finishes soft and light. By incorporating a classic subway tile on the perimeter wall, including the tub alcove, we created a nostalgic old world look in this classically styled bathroom. As a result, we were able to achieve a beautiful lakeside bathroom, that’s serene and worthwhile escaping to.
