We took this original builder-grade master bathroom and completely refitted it, including small but critical design changes and high-end fit and finish items.

We incorporated a few Aging-in-Place features, including a personal shower adjacent to a bench seat and a new Kohler tub with a wider edge for the user’s comfort. A frame-less glass surround replaced the old framed walls in the shower, completely opening up the bathroom and filling the shower with light.

An interior designer helped the clients perfect the tile design, resulting in a stunning mixture of ceramic Florida Tile and glass Mosaic Tile. Electric radiant heat under the tile floor makes for happy feet in wintertime.

The husband had a respiratory condition that made it crucial to keep the site clean at all times, including the use of an air scrubber to continuously filter the air.

The end result was a safe, comfortable, functional, and beautiful bathroom.
