Master Bathroom Remodel
Young families like this one are being drawn to the established Arcadia neighborhood to modernize the mid 1950’s homes and bring the spaces up to today’s trendy style. The inspiration for these two bathroom remodels was a fresh, bright and on-trend appeal.
The master bathroom was transformed from dark and brown to light and white. The deck tub was exchanged for a freestanding white oval tub with wall mount filler. Both the tub and shower areas were reconfigured for better flow, and visual appeal. A full height wall was cut down to make the shower look and feel more open. A custom bookcase storage niche was carved out of the awkward corner space, and now serves as display and additional storage. The dual vanity features white modern shaker cabinetry, white veined quartz countertops and is accented with bold black hardware and fixtures. The classic white subway tiled shower with contrasting grout will stand the test of time. The black hexagon floor tiles lend contrast against the white elements throughout the space.
