The game changer in this kitchen design was altering the layout so the refrigerator could fit in a previously underused space under the staircase. We were then able to shift the range so it was centered on the brick wall with workspace on both sides, and added a small peninsula for seating near the sink. The layout is now much more efficient and the sleek design fits nicely into this renovated shotgun house. These are Ikea cabinets faced with custom wood fronts.
