The homeowners asked us to transform their entry area into an Asian-style zen garden. We came up with the idea of a custom steel circular gateway, or moon gate, that serves as a striking entry point into the garden. A sleek ipe fence frames it and separates the driveway from the raking rock garden beyond. An existing wood pergola was painted red to complement the Asian theme.
