Spacious Laundry Room - 2021
These clients reached out because their current laundry area was downstairs in the basement and was inconvenient. They had a lot of extra garage space that was not being used in their day to day lives, so they were interested in better utilizing that space. We converted the extra garage space into a lovely, spacious laundry room/sewing room/workspace that is accessible from the kitchen and perfectly fits their taste and lifestyle. We love that these clients were open to using some color and brought inspiration from their antiques and other parts of the home. The rest of the home was a midcentury style mixed with a bit of modern, and the client’s taste is very craftsman and traditional. In their living room they had a beautiful craftsman style rug that gave us the inspiration for the green island in the new laundry room and the tile in the backsplash. This new laundry room is a sort of blend of craftsman and midcentury that came together quite well. By far the best part of this project was achieving everything the clients dreamed of for this space!
