Stunning Contemporary Kitchen - Closeups
After ordering the Scavolini cabinets from Italy, the homeowners had one main concern for the project: to install them properly. It was this heightened concern that sought out our superior craftsmanship.
Although this fully renovated kitchen saw few changes in the overall layout, with the Scavolini cabinets properly installed, the space was brought to life, and the room’s focal point was created. The removal of the counter space from the back wall aided in the decision for installing a large island with natural stone countertops with built-in Wolf, Subzero, and Miele appliances, as the primary counter space in this kitchen.
It was the floor to ceiling Scavolini cabinets, custom ordered from Italy, that transformed this kitchen into a Contemporary space. The kitchen has ample storage, with additional cupboards in the large kitchen island. One of the highlights of this space besides, the kitchen cupboards, are the exposed wooden beams that compliment the natural stone countertops and wooden flooring. The wooden backed bar stools coordinate with the exposed wooden beams and fit perfectly into the aesthetics of the space.
Project designed by Skokie renovation firm, Chi Renovation & Design- general contractors, kitchen and bath remodelers, and design & build company. They serve the Chicagoland area, and it's surrounding suburbs, with an emphasis on the North Side and North Shore. You'll find their work from the Loop through Lincoln Park, Skokie, Evanston, Wilmette, and all of the way up to Lake Forest.
