The other Company was going to attempt to tie in Prefinished flooring with real hardwood. The colors would have been dramatically different and even the material would have looked off as the prefinished hardwood has grooves on the ends of it.

Imagine living like this for more than a year..the other Company kept brining in "Tile grout" for show..none of that was ever needed and we just disposed of that once we could move forward with our work.

After some discussion, we framed a new wall in front of the simulated brick wall just to ensure a nicer job. We did the Electrical, drywall, finished carpentry work as well as refinishing the flooring.
