This construction on this project was phased, beginning with the front entrance. We designed pillars and rails that run along the outside edge of the driveway . Paving slabs were added up to the front door using thermal finish gauged bluestone pavers laid on the diagonal with 6" border.
In the rear garden a pathway and a low retaining wall were installed from the driveway courtyard to the rear of the house. A small raised patio connects the covered porch and kitchen doors to the future steps leading down to the rear terraces. The next phase of the projects was the installation of all the plantings included perennials, shrubs and, trees and bulbs. White single stem Birch trees were planted in groups in the driveway circle and underplanted with 1000's of spring bulbs Narcissus and Muscari. The third and final phase will include a split-level rear terrace for entertaining complete with an outdoor kitchen.
