5th Avenue NYC Apartment

Opened in 1927, the Sherry-Netherland is the quintessential historic New York apartment house. This high-floor co-op receives a thorough renovation to create a classic, sophisticated interior worthy of its Central Park views. A custom Chesney’s Clandon marble mantle anchors the main living space. Arched leaded glass transom-topped openings connect the adjacent cherry-paneled den. Bi-fold Harmon-hinged doors neatly tuck into the paneled jambs while a Murphy bed is concealed within the original center arched opening. Finally, new custom bookcases add elegance and disguise a television that rises when active.
