Armstrong Traditional Kitchen Addition
The number one issue with this kitchen was that the homeowners felt secluded when using this kitchen. The existing floor plan made the kitchen seem as if it were an afterthought on the blueprints. Here is what we did to remedy that:
1.Removed the wall between the existing screened porch and kitchen, combining the two spaces to incorporate the a new dining area and larger kitchen.
2.Created an opening between the new kitchen and existing dining room (now family room) to achieve a cohesive open atmosphere between the kitchen and the rest of the home.
3.New cabinetry, a central island with seating, several large granite countertop surfaces, multiple sinks and modern appliances would give these clients an updated, inviting, functional space to prepare meals with their children.
