Our client wished to remodel their 1960’s ranch house to have an inviting, open atmosphere.
The client’s desires were as follows:
- Create a cohesive space between the kitchen and dining room so that both rooms are used jointly when entertaining.
- Create a modern, functional kitchen that is in keeping with the feel of their 1960’s home.
- Position island seating in the kitchen for a more inclusive feel, instead of the small table under the window.
- Add pantry storage in the kitchen and complementary storage cabinetry in the dining room.
- Replace dated carpet and tile with hardwood flooring in the new space.
