When we first saw this property there was a long cement driveway that was cracked and buckling from big tree roots. We suggested a ribbon driveway to make more permeable surfaces on the property and make it cooler with a nice green lawn where children can run a play. The back yard was dirt with a chicken coop in the middle. They had been thinking to move it to the corner and we work this into our design. We made a little orchard and privacy screen to block the view of the two story metal building that is behind the property. Now they have an inviting and sustainable space that will also help feed the family!
