This is a really fun space for relaxing and entertaining. A large oak shade the back yard and the grass stayed wet forever! They have a big lovely front garden with plenty of grass and a wonderful screened porch but no where to sit and look up at the stars. We offered them a patio that was water permeable so the oak will not lose water. And we build a rasied bed for veggies and herbs that also functions as a seating wall. We installed the fence between them and the neighbor a/c units for noise reduction and more privacy and put in a little cooking area for their BBQ with a corrugated tin roof.
