This back garden was a blank slate with lawn. We changed it to spaces that can be used in various ways. They have a covered patio as part of the house. The lawn area is off that patio. There are raised beds for growing herbs and veg. Trees that will offer shade as they grow in. It feels more private and inviting. The benches can be used from either side. There is a gravel area for sitting around the fire-pit. The metal of the fire-pit echos the raised metal beds. The end of the space is where the gutters spill out. We created a dry creek bed for it to drain thru. The fountain and the rocks create a soothing vignette.
