The homeowners had a small space between their home and the neighbors. It was covered in flagstone and gravel but to uneven to be useful for entertaining and letting a small child run around. We suggested interlocking pavers with a focal point of a fountain to distract from the two buildings. We created what will evolve into a New Orleans style courtyard. With pots and little tables and lots of atmosphere.
