The homeowners wanted a place they could enjoy and some privacy from the neighbors deck. We expanded the patio and added pergola creating another living area. We nested a bed next to the walk way and had it intersect with the patio and pergola adding in a fountain as focal point. We planted a hedge of Savannah hollies on the west fence and jasmine on the trellis we attached to the garage wall. This will help to make the space more lush instead of feeling like you are surrounded by tall fences!
