We creating a garden room in the L of this back yard. The owners wanted a place to sit and read and enjoy a meal. The pergola bench is wide enough to lay down on and low enough to be used as a stage for children putting on a little play. The fore bed add a bit of privacy and is planted with butterfly attracting plants. The rear bed is planted with plants to make you feel like you are in your own private park. This is meant to be a sheltered shady space to escape to in the hot Houston summers.
