Balinese Kitchen
As with most current remodels the criteria for this project was to create an open floor with minimal interruption from the kitchen to the main living space. By building an addition off the existing kitchen that encompassed the space from an underutilized deck, and with maintaining the curvilinear lines of that deck, we were able to create an exciting kitchen layout. Ceiling to counter windows were incorporated into the cabinet design to take full advantage of the tropical garden in the rear yard. Simple wood tones allow the vibrant pattern of the countertop granite to be the focal point. Any available space in the cabinetry was turned into shelving as the clients had acquired a unique collection of artifacts through their travels. Winner - Local 2014 CotY Award
