The iron gates hung at both ends help delineate the use of the room as ‘special’ versus the more typical butler pantry/room. The clients were able to create a luxurious display room for their private stock of special wines.
Travertine floors remained in place while new stone finished walls were installed to give a sense of some old world charm and elegance. The cabinets were built to match the kitchen so as to not draw attention or conflict with the existing architecture and style.
