Among the client’s wishes for the renovation was a fresher, more inviting entranceway. This was accomplished through the addition of a porch structure at the front of the house, which uses stone, copper and elegant columns to soften the home’s original elevation. The porch addition, new stone detail and new treatments on the garage doors work together seamlessly to create an elegant, more-current front elevation. At the rear of the home, the breakfast room and screen porch additions and new roof-top balcony allow the interior areas to flow nicely into the remodeled, and now well-appointed, outdoor living space. These spaces, along with the multiple outdoor seating areas, all focus on the new pool, spa, water features, fire pit and extensive landscaping. The well-planned and executed outdoor renovation created a wonderful resort-like retreat to be enjoyed privately by the family or when entertaining.
