An old concrete walkway that curved into the lawn area was removed and replaced with Bluestone stepping stones to open up the lawn playarea.

An unused space contained weeds and Arborvitae that has struggled where the sun was blocked. The area was cleared, the Arborvitae limbed up and a path created.

The entrance to the backyard was narrow and unaccommodating for a large family. The area was cleared and a wide patio/pathway was created that makes room for an outdoor shower, wagons and bicycles.

The existing perennial garden curved into the lawn and was overrun with daylillies and ferns. The edge was straighten, moved back, simplified and is now ready for new colorful plantings in the Spring.

The finished product is ready for the first family BBQ when bar stools and future table and chairs are added.

The new cedar fence has been decorated with Cedar Lattice. Fruit plants have been planted that include an Apple Espalier, Raspberries, Blueberries and Peonies for Salads/Colors.

Carpinus trees with Boxwood below will create a wall of privacy. These trees stay narrow but can range between 20-30' tall.
