View from the family room to the kitchen. The dining room set moved to the rear addition and the piano that was in the family room moved to the front dining area.

Straight on view from the family room. The armoire to the right is actually a pantry cabinet. The indented wall to the right of the oven provided room for a drop zone on the other side.

Long view of the kitchen. The garage entry door was moved to align with the opening into the kitchen.

The arched opening that was created opened up site lines across the entire main level.

This area was created as a Drop Zone, just off the garage entry. The space was made by indenting a wall in the kitchen area.

Sunroom. The exterior brick wall served as the perfect accent for the new space.

Like many clients, a water leak provided the impetus to modernize the old kitchen. It was also a chance to better connect the kitchen and living area. In the end , the need for more space led to the addition of a dining area and sunroom off the rear of the home.
