Mallard Creek Remodel

The inspiration was the screened-in porch. It felt like sitting in the midst of a nature preserve and we wanted to bring that feeling into the kitchen where the owners could feel it as soon as they entered their home. The knotty alder cabinetry and use of warm earth tones played a key role.

This is the view toward the appliance wall. The refrigerator has over 25 cu ft of storage. The flanking tall cabinetry has a total of 10 pull out trays for convenient storage.

The microwave is also a convectin oven. The faucet at the prep sink is mounted so that it is equally accessible from either side of the island.
